Hi, my name is Cindy Schewe. I have been providing Licensed Child Care in my home for the past 25 years. I have been married to my husband Lyndon for 32 years. We have two wonderful daughters, Heidi and Heather and a beautiful granddaughter, Riley Jo. Before I started my child care business I worked at the Albert Lea Child Care Center In Albert Lea and Wee Pals Child Care Center in Owatonna. Working with children has always been my passion. I find it to be both satisfying and rewarding. I just recently completed my A.A.S. Degree Child Development so that I can help the children enrolled in my program reach their developmental milestones.
Mission
My mission is to provide quality child care to the children enrolled in my program. I will provide a safe and happy environment for your children to learn and play while you are at work. The children will have opportunities to meet their individual developmental needs through a variety of learning experiences.
Philosophy
Child Care is my chosen profession. Watching each child grow and develop to their fullest potential and being involved as a part of this growing process, makes my profession very rewarding. I am dedicated to being patient, understanding, loving, caring, and supportive to the children in my care. I am committed to establishing and maintaining open communication with parents. We must work together to assure your child’s time in my home is as happy as possible. My primary goal is to provide children a sense of security while they are away from their parents. It is very important to me that both parents and children feel comfortable, confident and happy in my day care program. I strive for the children in “Wee One’s Day Care” to acquire a sense of family, where they can learn, play, make friendships, and develop to their fullest potential.
